Appreciates support of others after their dog was attacked

Editor, Manteca Bulletin,
Thank you for the article about my dog Abby and the brutal attack that happened on Sunday morning.  I appreciate it so much, and I hope that if someone sees these dogs roaming around they will call the animal control to pick them up.  We would love to know who these dogs belong to.

We feel truly blessed by our friends and family who have called and supported us through this vicious attack on our dog.  Thanks to my neighbors, friends, Northgate Veterinary and to Cheryl from Auntie’s Grooming in Lathrop who have all rallied around us while Abby recuperates.

We know that God protected her as well as my husband and it was more than “luck” that it turned out the way it did.  One little correction in the article; it stated that my other neighbors feel fearful to be in their own backyards, but it should have read they feel fearful to walk on the bike path for fear that dogs that are unleashed will attack them.

I wanted to mention that Animal Control Officer Les Rowe was very nice.  Again, thank you for running the article and bringing it to the attention of the community.  Let’s just pray that someone knows who owns these dogs and turns them in.
