San Joaquin County asking for $357.8 million as the One Voice trip delegation is seeking is wishful thinking while President Trump is trying to reduce the national deficit.
I doubt that any part of the Trump Administration will buy into this scheme. There is no true need for transportation funding in Manteca.
Brown asked for aid for the broken spillway, but I can’t see the need for this area to receive that kind of money. I don’t see the administration funding the extension of BART because they built a station that was not needed.
I will do my part to shoot this request down by writing the President and appealing to him to kill this request.
