Backing Denham, voting to repeal gas tax & Larry Baca owes Blacks an apology
letter to editor

Editor, Manteca Bulletin,

As an educator, I try to be fair in my evaluation of certain issues.  I have been watching the political debating and wanted to offer my insight.

First, I would like to point out that I support Jeff Denham for Congress.  I believe many voters here in Manteca and in the valley are not aware that Josh Harder’s campaign volunteers have traveled from San Francisco to the San Joaquin Valley, knocking on doors to influence this area to elect Josh Harder.  He does not represent the values of the area, and without being specific, I will just say Josh Harder is Nancy Pelosi in jeans.

Second, I would like to also point out I am in favor of Prop 6.  I am not sure if you are aware; but even if the gas tax is repealed, California will still have the fifth highest gas tax in the nation.

Third, I must respond to Larry Baca and his usual rant.  You have made racist comments in the paper before.  You used your usual racist rant to claim Frank Aquila has an imaginary black friend and then when Darren Johnson wrote the paper from Las Vegas, you still did not accept the letter.  You also disrespected another black man who wrote in the paper citing the racism he has experienced from a Democratic registration booth.  You owe everyone in the black community an apology for your racist rants.
