The wasted life of the 48-year-old man killed by a driver making an illegal left turn is just another example of the lack of traffic control and enforcement in Manteca.

There is a no left turn sign at the exit of the parking lot of the Golden West School. Every other car makes a left turn. The next car crash is coming at any time.

Stop signs mean nothing. Speed limits are a joke. Red lights are ignored. There is a lack of respect for handicapped parking.

Do we have a police force?
