In this day and age that we find ourselves in with loss of jobs, pay cuts, and cuts in funding for public education, I was overwhelmed by the support from the Manteca community this past Saturday at East Union High School’s Track and Field Team’s First Annual Car Wash, Rummage Sale, and Recycling Drive.  Thank you for keeping us VERY busy during this event.  

I would also like to thank the Manteca Bulletin for their help in promoting our event as well as Terri and Kurtis Hauck for putting this hugely successful fundraiser together for our track and field team.  Additionally, I would like to thank all the parents that gave of their Saturday and our track and field team for all their hard work.  Finally, special thanks to all those individuals that opened their pocketbooks and donated to our program without buying a rummage sale item or getting a car wash.  A sincere thanks to all.
