Fant: Moves that move a community

Editor, Manteca Bulletin,

I must say that I was so pleased to not only have the editor of the Manteca Bulletin come out to see what the wonderful parent volunteers are doing in Weston Ranch, but to go as far as to participate was phenomenal!

The fitness class held Monday through Friday at August Knodt School, plays a major role in the Weston Ranch community. There are the wonderful benefits of having mothers walk their children to school and learn some healthy living tips to take home, but better yet, fellowship with our neighbors and foster a healthy relationships with one another.

I have received many calls and texts, encouraging Dennis Wyatt not to become a stranger, and continue periodic visits to the class. I too wouldn’t mind the presence of a fellow gentleman to share in my bungled attempts to keep up with the swift moves of these advanced “Zumbanites”. I can use a little bit of work on my cardio, seeing how Dennis showed me being 59 years old doesn’t mean you have to miss a beat.

Overall the vibe and the interest in our community was genuine and welcomed. We all appreciated Dennis Wyatt taking the time to come participate as well as be a listening ear to many of the mothers after the class. These truly were moves that were very much appreciated, and moved us immensely.
