Hernandez & Moorhead should both resign from City Council

Editor, Manteca Bulletin,
Manteca Councilman Vince Hernandez, who failed to show up last July for the block party held on Cowell Street in his “old neighborhood” on July 4th, concerning the gang issue, suddenly shows up this year on July 4th, 2009. This time there was no gang problem.

This time councilman Hernandez appears out of nowhere showing up just as most people had already left, chit-chatting, with a few people to make it look like he was concerned, but was not.

My, my how all of a sudden Hernandez showed any concern, after playing host to the Senior’s Breakfast, labeling it “The South of the Border Breakfast.” May be next 4th of July block party kind hearted Vince could show up early and play host to our block party, labeling it the “North of the Border Block party.”

After failing to make it as a bartender, Hernandez might have better luck hosting social events, as he is not doing his job as councilman. If someone on the council made a motion that they all go jump in the lake, either councilman Hernandez or councilwoman Debbie Moorhead would second that motion, if not both seconding the motion at the same time.

Neither one of them is doing their job. They both should resign.
