Regarding a letter from a Bethany Home resident posted in the Bulletin thanking the general public for voting “no” on Measure A submitted by the Ripon Consolidated Fire District:

Bethany Home Society as founded in Christ and there is nothing Christ like in rubbing salt into the wounds of the Rapid Response Committee in terms of defeat of Measure A. We need these men and women who put their lives on the line day in and day out. Hopefully the committee re-submits the measure in a responsible manner and the general public will do likewise.

Let’s continue to support the men and women and under cut them. I or you could very well stand in need of their services in the near too far future and then will we be able to look them in the eye and show some pride?
