 It is good to see someone practicing what they preach. The Lathrop City Council reduced their
stipends to bridge their deficit. The Manteca City Council has the option of taking medical while Lathrop doesn't get a medical plan. Why do we need to cover the council for medical, when they meet only twice a month?

 They can implement layoffs and furloughs to city workers, while they don't contribute one thing to the deficit. They even returned for more wage concessions from city workers. Why don't they just take what they need from city workers and return the rest.

The city worker is being hit twice while this council doesn't contribute on dime to the deficit.
