Josh Harder is more Valley than Denham
letter to editor

Editor, Manteca, Bulletin

Let’s take a good look at Mr. Jeff Denham. Born and raised in Hawthorne, Ca. (Los Angeles County). Graduated from Morro Bay, Ca. (definitely not from our Valley)

Most of Mr. Denham’s campaign support comes from Special Interest and/or Super PACS , his “Yes” vote on the recent tax bill reflects this. 83% of the tax breaks went to billionaires and big business (Denham reaping many benefits as well). This is increasing our deficit to what is projected to be $1 trillion by 2020. Now GOP Senate leader Mitch McConnell says “entitlement payments” (Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid) will have to be looked at after mid-terms, to offset this huge deficit.

Healthcare — Denham has voted to repeal the Affordable Healthcare Act, which protects our pre-existing coverage care. Voting on the side of Big Insurance also allows for the “age tax” (AARP) to be enacted, higher premiums for those 55-64. (Bill #1628)

Valley Water-Denham “says” he is protecting our Valley water rights, but then votes for a bill, sponsored by Southern Ca. Rep David Valado, which has a rider that prohibits lawsuits against the Twin Tunnels (Bill H.R #6147).

It’s time for a change! Vote for Josh Harder Nov.6t. Born and raised in Turlock (where his family currently resides), Josh graduated from Modesto High. He was most recently a teacher at MJC until the elections began. Josh’s great-great grandfather settled in Manteca. The negative ads of Josh Harder being a Bay Area guy are blatant lies! Josh will protect our healthcare, water rights and economy because he and his family are a part of us. josh harder also accepts no special interest money. his vote will be for you, not big business interests.
