LAFCo needs to stop dragging feet on SSJID proposal

Editor, Manteca Bulletin,

This is in response to Dennis Donald Geiger’s letter of May 5 referencing Dennis Wyatt’s column, “San Joaquin agency protecting PG&E profits” on April 22:

As an editor, you were “editorializing,” what I consider the general sentiment and consensus of the people of Manteca, Ripon and Escalon, The column hit the nail square on the head!

For the past five years, it appears all the T’s are crossed, and the I’s dotted; therefore, whatever reason the LAFCo commissioners are dragging their feet (on the South San Joaquin Irrigation District’s proposal to enter the retail power business), it doesn’t take a genius to arrive at the same conclusion that your article succinctly editorialized.

A date to finalize and approve is — for the common good!
