Lots of people made street faire a success

Editor, Manteca Bulletin,

Our 16th annual Crossroads Street Faire has come and gone and I would like to thank all of our wonderful volunteers that helped make this year’s faire our best ever. We had close to 100 volunteers that were up at 3:30 a.m. to assist our 400 vendors with check-in and setup and many of those volunteers stayed for the entire weekend.

A special thanks goes out to our wonderful committee, many who worked all year to prepare for this great event. Chuck Crutchfield, Donna Shannon, Marla Nunes, Steve Stroud, Dorothy Indelicato, Mark McCool, Errol Schmall, Gordon Kennedy from GK Music, troubleshooters Nick and Vince and all-around help Ken Sanders.

The Street Faire could not have happened without the wonderful help of the Manteca Police Explorers for their help with check-in and most importantly our overnight security, Manteca PD, City of Manteca streets and waste management crew, Manteca CERT Team, Boy Scout Troop 432, CVB Visitors Guides, CVB Board of Directors, SHARPs, Deb Phillips and her crew from the corp and all the other individuals that gave up their time and worked so hard to make the Crossroads Street Faire a Success.

And without a doubt the wonderful CVB staff who have spent countless hours working with vendors and answering hundreds of phone calls regarding the faire, Yvonne Torres and Suzanne Clemens. You are the best!

Last but not least, thank you to all the vendors who provided such a great variety of booths!

The Street Faire Committee is already busy with plans for the 2013 Crossroads Street Faire and as always we are looking for volunteers to assist us with this process. If you are interested in serving on our committee or volunteering for any of our other events please call the CVB at 823-7229

Again thank you all for your time and support.
