Manteca councils four worry warts
Placeholder Image

Editor, Manteca Bulletin,

Certain members of the Manteca City Council are becoming worry warts. The quartet consisting of Mayor Steve DeBrum, and council members Richard Silverman, Mike Morowit, and Vince Hernandez seem to be always worried about certain issues popping up.

Hernandez is always worried about alleys and fences. The “odd couple” — Silverman and Morowit — for the past three council meetings have been worried about the taxpayers. Strange how the two of them should be worried about taxes since they recently had an all expense paid trip to Washington, D.C., paid for by taxpayers. None of the four mentioned council members were worried about a $65,000 baseball field which doesn’t even have an ADA approved restroom.

More fork tongue talk by the “Big Four.”
