Manteca growth is more like ‘ka-pow!’
letter to editor

Editor, Manteca Bulletin,

There are 15 cars lined up at the stop sign to get out of my neighborhood, it’s the same at the stoplight. Freeway off-ramps are full of cars everywhere also. This is all at 1 p.m.

How about ka-pow, bim, bam, boom for the former so-called city “leaders” supported by developers and businesses. They are the ones responsible for this mess caused by the build now, plan later development they fostered. In one way the woman comparing Manteca to Lodi, Turlock and Ripon was right. They are better planned and managed. Manteca is by no means an armpit, but there is plenty of room for improvement in the area of requiring more infrastructure from people who want to build.
