Editor, Manteca Bulletin,
On Oct. 29, downtown businesses opened their doors for the Safe Halloween event. Over one hundred children, along with their parents, were dressed up in their best costumes and “trick-or-treated” in a safe and friendly environment at participating merchants in downtown Manteca.
The Manteca Interact Club, which sponsored the event, wishes to thank all of the participating merchants: Fiesta Palace, Mary’s Beauty Salon, Gavora Studio, Silver Teapot, Secrets & Salon, Tipton’s, Manteca Bedquarters, German Glas Werks, American Furniture, Panaderia, Kelley Bros., Formal Connections, Glamour Hair Salon, Tammy’s Baby Shop, Century Furniture, Metro, Antiques Jewelry, Monogram Magic, Adriana’s Attic, Angles, Sonia’s Beauty Salon, Accent Carpet, Indian Merchandise, Wells Fargo, Dan’s Barbershop, Cocktail Lounge, and Mimosa.
We hope you had as much fun as we did with the “trick-or-treaters.” We would like to thank Manteca Bedquarters for the use of their parking lot as well.
The Manteca Interact Club is a community service and leadership club comprised of students from Sierra High School. Interact is sponsored by the Manteca Rotary Club and Manteca Morning Rotary Club.
