In April I sent an email to the Manteca water department asking why they did not change the water bill consumption usage to gallons because as a customer I cannot tell how many gallons I actually use.

HCF (hundred cubic feet) usage means nothing to the average water user.  The reply I got was that their IT people are working on changing the water bill to reflect gallons used but it will take “months” for them do so.

Seems strange that a conversion formula is so difficult!
