The current political atmosphere is too often defined by partisanship and incivility that divides our communities instead of uniting us.  However, Mayor Steve DeBrum is someone who will work with leaders from both parties to get things done.  

Although we don’t always agree, Steve is a consensus builder and leader who always puts the needs of Manteca residents first.  We have worked together for many years on transportation issues like road and highway upgrades, mass transit and air quality.  In today’s partisan times, it’s good to have effective elected leaders like Steve who put principles before politics.
