Objects to their contempt

Editor, Manteca Bulletin,
I object to Mr. Simoni and Mr. Aquila presenting themselves as exponents of our Christian faith.

Their vitriolic contempt for those who don’t agree with them is directly contrary to one of the main teachings of Jesus, who said: “By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” (NASB: John 13:35)

And to call President Obama an “idiot” is an unworthy calumny and also directly contrary to the teaching of Jesus, who said: “But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be guilty before the court; and whoever says to his brother, ‘You good-for-nothing,’ shall be guilty before the supreme court; and whoever says, ‘You fool,’ shall be guilty enough to go into the fiery hell.” (NASB: Matthew 5:22-24 )
