Editor, Manteca Bulletin,
On April 25, HOPE Family Shelter/Raymus House held our first annual Poker Tournament and the event was a wonderful success. Everyone had a great time and we were able to give out some terrific prizes. We would like to thank all of the participants who joined us in this fund raising event. The event raised $3,000 to help support HOPE Family Shelter and Raymus House.

We would also like to express our thanks to the sponsors of the event, who donated prizes, food and support to truly make this an outstanding time for everyone. We would also like to express a loud “thank you” to all the volunteers who helped by being dealers, set-up and break-down, and support during the event. We are blessed by their generosity and willingness to help.

Some of our prize sponsors included, Delicato Winery, Terry Davis of Eagle’s Nest Harley Davidson, Jeff & Tevani Liotard at Mountain Mike’s Pizza, Jim Bylow, Manteca Lighting, McHenry Bowl, M.A. Rey, Parklane Cleaners, Wal Mart, Chipotle Grill, 24 Hour Fitness, Creative Design Interiors, Pacific Avenue Bowl, Main Street Cafe, and many more.

Thanks again to our community for your support and help in these difficult times. As the need increases and resources dwindle, it is a blessing to know that so many people care and desire to help others in need.
