I am writing this letter to respond to Larry Baca’s racist claim that a black person can’t be a Republican and if a white person had a friend that is Republican, he must be an imaginary person. 

 Larry Baca is a racist and I write this angrily considering a racist comment was recently told to me at a Democrat registration booth.  I was walking by when a woman asked me if I was registered to vote.  I told the woman I was a registered independent.  She responded how I should register as a Democrat because, “you belong to us”. I told that woman I don’t belong to anyone.  

I do not know how she meant it to come out but as far as I can see from this comment and from hearing about Larry Baca’s account, it is apparent to me the Democrat party thinks they own the Black vote and that we belong to them.  I will tell Larry Baca just like I told that woman at the Democrat Booth, “I don’t belong to anyone.”   I have become an independent because I found out the history of the Democrat party and their racism and I can see their policies will not improve the black community but only keep us down and dependent on them.  

Thank you Larry Baca for reviving my anger and I will be sure to vote for Trump in the next election.  I have nothing to lose.
