Retiring Legion Post commander appreciates help

Editor, Manteca Bulletin,

For the past two years, my tenure as commander at the American Legion Post 249 McFall-Grisham in Manteca has been two successful and gratifying years. We have accomplished many projects to serve the Veterans and for the Post. I’m writing this letter to thank everyone who helps the Post stay active and striving.

First I want to thank all the officers of the Post who help me keep the operation of the Post going great as it did.

Next, I want to thank the community for their great support in coming to our fundraiser and the monthly dinners. Without you support the Post would be pressed to keep open. Also I want to thank Redi-Mart (Clif and Diane Givens) for their support in printing all our pictures and literature, and also Steve and Debbee Tarr for their support of the Post. Their support for our  fundraisers and support of us veterans is highly appreciated.  Also I want to thank the Manteca Bulletin, for all the write ups you gave through the year about our monthly dinner and events. At last I want to thank the Post women Auxiliary Unit 249 for their help throughout the years.
