Editor, Manteca Bulletin,

The Manteca Sunrise Kiwanis would like to take this opportunity to express their thanks to all the generous people and businesses who so graciously donated their time, money and food for Special Access Day prior to the Pumpkin Fair. This was the 25th year this event was held, and as always it was a great success.

Special Access Day is held for children and adults with developmental disabilities in San Joaquin, Stanislaus, Calaveras, Amador, Tuolumne and Merced counties. This year we had in excess of 1,800 attend. This year’s event was held at the Dell’Osso Corn Maze where the attendees were able to enjoy all the wonderful events including the Maze. They had a wonderful lunch, entertainment, pumpkins and Trick-or-Treat bags filled with goodies at no cost, thanks to our wonderful sponsors. So to the following sponsors and to the volunteers we wish to say, “Thank you.”

Ron and Susan Dell’Osso for five wonderful years at the farm, MBM Food Service, Cargill Food Distribution, J.R. Simplot Co., St. Joseph’s Medical Center, Pentel of America, Manteca Rotary, United Stationers, Storer Coachways, Frito-Lay, Alhambra/Sierra Spring Water Co., Stars N Stripes, Chez Shari Productions, Fagundes Meats, George Perry & Sons, J&J Printing, The Office City, Kiwanis Club of Greater Lodi, Kiwanis Club of El Dorado Club, Manteca Ambulance, California Milk Advisory Board, Golden Valley Federal Credit Union, Manteca Senior Center, Landd Special T’s, Manteca Youth Advisory Commission, Redi Mark and, of course, all the volunteers.

Without the support of the wonderful people this event would not happen.

Thanks to all of you for making our 25th anniversary so special.
