The leaders of Great Valley Writing Project would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the sponsors of our recent fundraising events. Our third annual GVWP dinner-dance raised over $10,000!  

Tuff Boy, our primary financial sponsor, hosted the dinner-dance, but generous support came from other event sponsors: AKF Development, Baldwin Trucking, Ted Bricker, The Brocchini Family Foundation, Calone Law Group, Raymus Homes, Rick King Design, Save Mart Supermarkets, SRH Enterprises, Kerry Smith, Thelma Stewart, UBS, and The Wine Group. We would like to thank all of these businesses and professionals for helping us create a successful fundraising event.

We would also like to thank the individuals who purchased tickets and the volunteers who spent long hours setting up and staffing the event. We find it encouraging that so many citizens are willing to contribute their time and money to support the work of educators in local classrooms.

Great Valley Writing Project will use this money to maintain and expand GVWP programs that provide summer writing instruction for students and year-round professional development programs for teachers in Manteca, Lathrop, and Ripon.
