I find it interesting — and disgusting — that the State of California has reduced its support to the Manteca unified School District by $6 million yet it managed to allocate $50 million for court fees to fight legal deportation orders of illegal immigrants by the federal government.
 It appears that sabotaging federal orders enforcing current immigration law is more important to the California Legislature than children’s education in California.
Perhaps our governor and our liberal California politicians should run for federal office if they want to change existing immigration law. But taking money away from schools to finance their liberal agenda is not only detrimental to our young generation but dereliction of duty as well.
