Editor, Manteca Bulletin,
Our 12th annual Crossroads Street Faire has come & gone and I would like to thank all of our wonderful volunteers that helped make this year’s faire our best ever. We had close to 100 volunteers that were up at 3:30 a.m. to assist our 400 vendors with check-in and setup and many of those volunteers stayed for the entire weekend.

A special thanks goes out to our wonderful committee many who have been together for all 12 fairs.  Chuck Crutchfield our chairperson for the last 11 years,  troubleshooters Dave and Ruth Bricker, food inspectors, Kerri & Rudy Tapia, Rex Osborn, security, Steve De Brum, sponsorships and Veronica DeBrum, hospitality.

I also would be remiss if I didn’t thank the Explorer Post 805 for their help with check-in and most importantly our overnight security, Manteca Police, Manteca CERT Team, Citizen’s Police Academy, CVB Visitors Guides, CVB Board of Directors, SHARPS,  John Scharf, Ken Sanders, Dave Cox, Chip DeVito,  Christina Assen, Dave Byrd, Dennis Wyatt, Jose Salcedo, Thomas Reeves, Bev Marlow, Tayla Heath, Emily Crutchfield, Dorothy Indelicato, Pranil Khatri, Mark McCool, Manteca Jr. Buffalos  and all the other individual that gave up their time and worked so hard to make the Crossroads Street Faire a success.
Two of the most important people in setting up the faire are my wonderful staff who have spend countless hours working with vendors, setting up entertainment and answering hundreds of phone calls regarding the faire. John Heath & Yvonne Torres. You are the best.

We would also like to pay special tribute to our sponsors, The City of Manteca, Manteca Trailer & Camper, Mossdale Marina, Bank of the West, Northern California Ford Dealers, Manteca Bulletin and Black Oak Casino.  The Convention & Visitors Bureau is able to bring events to Manteca because of your support.

The Street Faire Committee is already busy with plans for the 2010 Crossroads Street Faire and as always we are looking for volunteers to assist us with this process.  If you are interested in serving on our committee or volunteering for any of our other events please call the CVB at 823-7229

Again thank you all for your time and support
