Let us, in 2009, go back and read of that first Christmas gift to us from God.
Can you come out of the busy shopping malls for one night this year? Just for a time to look up into that great sky full of stars, and begin to think with me about the God, who created all of this. Also, have you thought about God’s only son Jesus, born in Israel on a night so long ago now.

Before there were big stores, stacked high with gifts for folks, God’s gift to folks, of our Savior was given. II Corinthians 9 v. 15 says in the K.J.V. “Thanks be unto God for His unspeakable gift.” That gift of Jesus, our Savior from sin, that is mankind’s greatest gift in 2009, and any year. Please read about the coming of this miracle child in Matthew 1vs. 20-25. Turn back in your Bible to read much of His story in Luke’s gospel also. This Christmas receive God’s love, mercy and grace, all wrapped up in Jesus, the reason for this season.
