Wants City Council to revisit fireworks sales

Editor, Manteca Bulletin,

I live on Wawona Street in Manteca and I am 89 years old. The night of the Fourth of July was the most frustrating and irritating night that I can remember. It was like World War II all over again. (I was in World War II.)

Why this city allows this sort of activity is beyond comprehension. Animals go absolutely berserk. Nobody can sleep. It is extremely hard on any person with any kind of nervous condition, especially senior citizens and children.

Personally, I think legal action should be taken against the City of Manteca and force them to stop this illegal action by some very inconsiderate people who have absolutely no consideration for their neighbors.

My request is that the City Council put this matter on their agenda at their next meeting and discuss it in detail.
