Its time to stop destructive turf warfare between the blues & the reds

Turf warfare waged by those sporting blue and red are tearing this country apart.

They are spreading fear, prompting people to look for secure havens, and spreading economic blight.

They attack each other without giving a second thought to innocent victims.

It is time that we take back our country.

No, it’s not the Norteños and Sureños. It’s the Republicans and Democrats.

Just like gangs that wear blue and red, hardcore politicians of both colors are more intent on exacting revenge or spreading hatred. And if happen to “dis” them, watch out. There’s nothing more dangerous than a hardcore red or blue politician who believes they have been insulted.

If you think gang graffiti is frightening, listen to what flows from press releases and the mouths of the blue and red political gangs.

And instead of moving drugs, they work in a much more destructive currency — the distribution of hard-earned tax dollars. Some call it the redistribution of wealth. Others call it political payola for big dollar campaign donors.

The constant warfare has turned our great cities into wastelands weakened by social programs and out-of-control federal programs. Ever see an urban public housing complex that wasn’t a hostile living environment?

Before you blame the gangs, their red and blue cousins that have a death grip on the nation’s capitol set the stage.

If there is a problem, the reds and blues throw money at it and regulate. If it works in spite of them, then they tax it to death. If they support their campaigns, they give them tax breaks

And just like the gangs, there is little real difference between the political parties.

They keep re-inventing reality when it suits their whims. They neither care about casualties or collateral damage. To them it has simply become a game as to how much turf they can control making them much like gangs in the truest sense.

It isn’t about right or wrong. It isn’t about governing. It isn’t about the greater good. Nor is it about accommodating different views. It is all about one side being righteous and the other side not worthy of life.

Gangs —like politicians — wrap themselves in colors and images. It is those images — and being a pure Democrat or a Republican — that matters more than anything else. Just like as in gangs, politicians don’t dare break rank or else they are ostracized and targeted for elimination in the next primary.

It is time to take our neighborhoods back from the reds and blues that terrorize our streets.

It is also time to take our country back from the reds and blues that terrorize Main Street to the benefit of Wall Street.

Gang mentality that feeds retribution is threatening to destroy our country whether it is employed by Norteños, Sureños, Republicans, or Democrats.
