It’s been long awaited.
WLC Architects will help provide services towards replacing the bleachers at the Ripon High stadium.
At tonight’s Ripon Unified school board meeting, WLC is scheduled to unveil plans that call for the project to be conducted in two phases.
The first part would consist of replacing the home side bleachers. Phase II will be that of the visitors’ side bleachers and would be completed pending both the approval by the Division of State Architects on the plans and available funding.
At the 7 p.m. open session in the Council Chambers, 259 N. Wilma Ave, WLC could discuss services that include architectural design, obtaining DSA approvals, getting competitive bid on construction and seating along with providing closeout documents.

uTrustees will hear a presentation by members of Ripon’s Clinton McCausland American Legion Post 190 on “Invisible – The Story of Our Flag” books to each RUSD campus.
uThey’ll also honor a Ripon Elementary School student for San Joaquin County Office of Education’s “Every Student Succeeding” Award.
uDirector of Curriculum Kathy Coleman will speak on Ripon technology standards and the recommended classroom setup.
uChief Business Officer Sonia Lasyone is scheduled to present the Second Interim Report, declaring a positive certification to the state that RUSD is able to meet its financial obligations for the remainder of this school year and the two subsequent years.
uRipon High Principal Lance Morrow will talk on plans of changing graduation requirements, removing Keyboarding for World Geography.
