Pacific defeats Nevada in OT

STOCKTON (AP) — Lorenzo McCloud scored 24 points Tuesday night and Pacific defeated Nevada 78-72 in overtime.

McCloud scored five of the Tigers' 12 points in the overtime period. Colin Beatty, who had 14 points, hit a 3-pointer in the opening seconds to put Pacific (4-4) ahead to stay.

Ross Rivera added 14 points for the Tigers. McCloud also had seven assists.

Deonte Burton led the Wolf Pack (4-4) with 25 points. Jordan Burris had 14 points and a game-high nine rebounds. Jerry Evans Jr. had 13 points and Malik Story scored 12 for Nevada.

Neither team scored in the final minute of regulation and the game went to overtime tied at 66.
