The offensive line of Sebastian Snyder, Mariano Cardenas, David Vega, Mark Rodriguez, Gurjot Dhaliwal, Jose Rios and Alejandro Tornero helped Manteca cap its perfect season Friday with a 28-14 win over East Union in Valley Oak League junior varsity action at Dino Cunial Field.
The VOL champion Buffaloes (6-0 VOL, 10-0 overall) were led by Aidan Nicolas (13 carries, 139 yards), Krys Charles (nine carries, 102 yards) and Victor Martinez (eight carries, 96 yards).
Martinez scored on runs of 9 and 27 yards with Nicolas galloping 76 yards for a touchdown and Calvin Ramsey (six carries, 20 yards) added a 1-yard scoring plunge.
Jesus Gomez (7 for 11 passing, 123 yards) and Carlos Alvarez (four catches, 94 yards) teamed up on both Lancers touchdowns on passes of 26 and 27 yards.
David Vega, Jose Rios and Richie Garcia paced Manteca with five tackles each. Paul Placencia recovered a fumble and Javier Flores made an interception.
Jonathan Castenada made nine tackles for East Union (3-3, 7-3) and Lane Cefalu added seven.

Ripon Christian 44 Delhi 0
The Knights (7-0 SL, 10-0 overall) wrapped up a perfect season with a shutout of the Hawks (1-7, 2-8).
Ripon Christian’s Will Gilbert was 3 of 3 passing for 64 yards with a 61-yard touchdown pass to Lukas Van Groningen while Caleb Terpsma spotted Andrew Clark with a 23-yard scoring pass.
Travis De Shields, Jay Hoekstra, Cole Gemmell, Joel Hiemstra and Nick Ochoa all contributed to the Knights offense.
Micah De Jong made five tackles and recovered a fumble for Ripon Christian. Jay Hoekstra added two sacks, Zach Brouwer made an interception and Kyler O’Connor notched a safety.
Freshman
Manteca 20, East Union 13
Clinging to a one-point fourth-quarter lead Thursday, the Buffaloes’ Khalid Robinson scored his second 5-yard touchdown of the day to give Manteca a little breathing room at Guss Schmiedt Field.
Manteca boasted a pair of 100-yard rushers with Robinson gaining 101 yards on nine carries and Dominic Alvarez picking up 109 yards on 11 carries with a 31-yard touchdown run.
Marcus Brennan (23 carries, 176 yards) tallied both Lancers touchdowns on runs of 2 and 3 yards. Luke Weaver directed the East Union offense that outgained Manteca 329-219, completing 10 of 19 passes for 119 yards. Gustavo Delagadillo made five catches for 69 yards and Brennan chipped in 34 yards on three receptions.
Mason Gandy led the Buffaloes defense with seven tackles. Dominic Alvarez added six stops, Dylan Deprater and Zach Todd five apiece, Omar Villanueva three and Khalid Robinson two.
Delagadillo had 10 tackles for the Lancers. Gannon Anderson tallied seven stops, Payton Graham six and Dominic Kempf four.
