Manteca ends season with win over Lancers

Manteca High pummeled East Union 56-8 on Friday to wrap up the Valley Oak League sophomore campaign at Dino Cunial Field.

 The Buffaloes jumped out to a 40-0 halftime lead with Kameron Beamon, Devyn Gonzalez, Gerson Gomez, Angel Montoya, Andrew Thomas, and Matthew Ender all scoring touchdowns.

 Manteca ended the season on a roll, outscoring its last three opponents 126-8.

 Mason James scored on a 42-yard touchdown run for the Lancers in the fourth quarter.

Sierra 50,
Weston Ranch 26

Mark Vicente scored five touchdowns for the Timberwolves.

Kamari Williams added two touchdowns for Sierra with the Timberwolves offensive line of  Jeremy Parente, Leo Pimentel, Orlando Biggs, Dilpreet Singh and Fernando Vega doing a good job opening holes.

Jo Jo Dunham, Tyler Fitch and Brandon Arreola anchored the Sierra defense.

 

Lathrop 13, Kimball 8

Tremayne Willis scored a 12-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter to help secure the come-from-behind victory for the Spartans.

Michael Ramos (13 carries, 75 yards) gave Lathrop a 7-0 lead in the first aurter on a 5-yard touchdown run and sealed the win with an interception with two minutes left in the game.

Willis had 17 carries for 44 yards.
