Jorge Cedano ran for two touchdowns and threw for one Friday to lead Manteca to a 36-3 non-league win over Enochs of Modesto in non-league sophomore action at Guss Schmiedt Field. 

Cedano had scoring runs of 5 and 14 yards and had a 27-yard touchdown pass to Chris Ortiz. Jose Ceja scored the last Manteca touchdown on a 2-yard run.

Ceja and Tyler Elks led the Buffaloes defense with seven tackles apiece and Josiah Medina added six. 

 

Lodi 32, Sierra 26

Miguel Sequiera had nearly 300 all-purpose yards for the Timberwolves at the Grape Bowl.

Sequiera had three touchdowns rushing with 173 yards on the ground and he threw for 101 yards. Frankie Velasquez ran for 67 yards and had one touchdown.

Sierra’s Jerard Salcedo made five receptions for 61 yards and Carolos Tovar had two catches for 39 yards.

Miguel Sequiera made 11 tackles for the Timberwolves. Saul Contreras added six stops with Eric Barron, Dylan Fonseca, and David Higaris each getting four.
