SUTTER — And the brutal non-league schedule continues for Ripon.

The Indians traveled to Sutter on Friday to face their third 2015 state qualifier this season and had trouble from the jump with the Huskies putting up 21 first-quarter points on the way to a 45-7 win at Sutter High School.

“Our pre-season is a brutal run,” Ripon coach Chris Musseman said. “The three teams we lost to are all state qualifiers or champions.

“We are very inexperienced and a little small and that is a little tough for us.”

Trailing 35-0 in the second quarter, the Indians (2-3) got on the board when Aaron Paschini pulled in a 35-yard touchdown pass from Ryan Daggett. Paschini finished with four receptions for 83 yards and Daggett was 8 of 18 passing for 118 yards with two interceptions.

Sutter remains undefeated at 4-0.
