WATERFORD – Ripon Christian scored more touchdowns on Friday night than Waterford had in total offensive yardage.
And as a result they won big.
After four quarters Friday night, the Knights (5-1, 2-1) ran away with a 59-0 Southern League victory over the Wildcats (2-4, 0-3) – a team that they held to a total of seven offensive yards the entire contest.
Quarterback Travis Zuidervaart finished the game with 139 passing yards on seven completions. He found receivers that were able to get into the end zone four times – hitting Ethan McMurray twice to go along with touchdowns to Jonah Lewis and and Ty Beidleman. Seth Silveira finished with 140 yards and three touchdowns.
And while Ripon Christian scored only a touchdown in the fourth quarter, both halves were evenly distributed. They finished with 421 yards of total offense.
