Trans-Valley League
Ripon 226, Hilmar 290
RIPON — The Indians (3-1 TVL, 5-1 overall) continued their recent streak of steady play at Spring Creek Golf & Country Club.
Connor Larkin was even par with a 36, and Hilmar’s Hector Deleon turned in the second best score with a 42. Also scoring for Ripon were Rhet Herrin (43), Justin Brito (47), Trent Hawes (49) and Luis Candido (51).
“We came out and laid an absolute egg in our first match against Hughson,” Ripon coach Chris Musseman said. “The guys are playing well now and we are where we should be. It wasn’t the greatest match in the world, but if that’s a bad match for us we’ll take it.”
