All individual points went to East Union players, as the Lancers coasted past Manteca 233-262 Wednesday to improve to 8-2 in the Valley Oak League.

East Union’s Natalie Cowan continued her recent stretch of strong play, earning medalist honors with a 4-over-par 41 on the Manteca Park Golf Course front nine. Hayley Leonard and Melinda Amick tied for second with 46s. Kendra Campbell and Kennedy Goodnough each added a 50.

Manteca was paced by Taylor Reed’s 51. Alyssa Gutierrez finished with a 52, while Meghan Garlets, Michaela Pangburn and Kylee Eberle turned in 53s.
