Nine carries for 209 yards and four touchdowns are respectable totals for a game. Manteca’s K.P. MacDannald did it in one half Friday to lead the junior varsity Buffaloes to a 52-0 Valley Oak League thumping of visiting Kimball at Guss Schmiedt Field.

MacDannald galloped for touchdown runs of 18, 31, 33 and 75 yards and he had one reception of 33 yards. Luis Rivera-Cruz added a 20-yard touchdown run, Marco Ramos scored from 14 yards out and Ethan Mathews had an 8-yard touchdown run.

Andrew DeFrenchi made seven tackles for Manteca. Mateo Quintero, Luis Rivera-Cruz and Isaiah Tariku added three stops apiece and Landon Chamberlain two.

 

Ripon Christian 35, Gustine 13

Owen Greenlee ran for three touchdowns for the Knights in the Southern League contest.

Greenlee (seven carries, 103 yards) scored on runs of 13, 40 and 48 yards. Josh Miller (three carries, 11 yards, touchdown; three receptions, 96 yards, touchdown) scored a pair of touchdowns on a 3-yard run and a 48-yard pass from Jace Beidleman (5 of 12 attempts passing, 138 yards). Isaiah Vander Woude added nine carries on 67 yards, Aiden Silva picked up 66 yards on nine attempts and Ethan Schenk tallied 42 yards on two catches.

Andrew Mensonidnes and E.J. Bruno posted three stops apiece for Ripon Christian and Ben Miller added the exclamation point with a game-ending interception.

 

Los Banos 21, Lathrop 6

Jordan Comporato scampered 71 yards for a first-quarter Spartans touchdown and the early lead, but Lathrop would not find the end zone again in Western Athletic Conference action.

Comporato gained 86 yards on three carries. Ramon Rivas added 33 yards on 10 carries with Teagan Shevlin, Adrian Padilla and Nathan Martinez contributing on offense.

Martinez was in on 10 tackles to lead Lathrop. Michael Adams added seven stops, Chris Ramos, Adrian Padilla and Casyn Hopping five apiece; Dominic Corral, Adrian Zuniga and Julio Garcia four each and Andre Muqhar and Jerome Datu three each. Sean Teu, Alexia Domingcil and Jordan Blase all contributed on defense.

Ripon 14, Escalon 8

Ripon’s Ethan Baur snagged an interception with 2:40 left in the game seal the Trans-Valley League win for the Indians.

Cade Escalante (nine carries, 119 yards) scored on a 69-yard touchdown run for Ripon and Eric Guevara (14 carries, 72 yards) scored from 12 yards out.

Brandon Blake and Logan Spear led the Indians with six tackles apiece. Nathan Curless (interception) and Porter Myers added five stops each with three each for Xaiden Reyes and Richard Langenfeld. Caden Clark made two big sacks for Ripon late in the game.

 

Manteca 32, Kimball 6

The Buffaloes scored all of their points in the first half.

Manteca’s Rueben Moreno ground out 124 yards on 14 carries with scoring runs of 13 and 25 yards. Damarie Long (12 carries, 51 yards) scored on 2- and 22-yard runs. Preston Smith was 6 of 9 passing for 76 yards passing and Chris Chavez pulled in 48 yards on three receptions.

Moreno (forced fumble, fumble recovery) made seven tackles and Alijah Marshal (fumble recovery) four. Eddie Anthony added an interception.
