Justin Coenenberg is calling all former Buffaloes to reunite at Manteca High’s Guss Schmiedt Field this Friday.

The school’s soccer head coach is putting on the 7th Annual Band of Buffaloes Alumni Game, which kicks off at 5 p.m. with an intrasquad scrimmage featuring current varsity players. The main event is scheduled for a 6:30 start.

All former Manteca varsity boys soccer players who sign a release of liability form are eligible to participate. Jerseys will be provided, though participants must supply their own shin guards and cleats. 

Cost of admission for both spectators and alumni players is $5. All proceeds benefit the soccer program.

Last year’s event drew 30 alumni representing various classes from 1985-2013.
