Caleb Rogers was 3 for 3 with a double and a run, and Scott Robison pitched a complete-game four-hitter to lead Ripon in a 3-1 nonleague victory at Downey of Modesto Monday.

Robison struck out five and walked three while improving to 2-5. The Indians are now 9-9 overall and take their 1-3 Trans-Valley League mark to Modesto Christian on Wednesday.

Leadoff hitter Fotios Jordanoglou tripled and plated the first two runs for Ripon — one in the first, and the go-ahead in the top of the third. Dante Machado, who went 2 for 3, drove in the eventual game winner.

Thomas Reynolds knocked in Ken New for Downey’s lone run in the bottom of the second. The Knights fell to 6-12.
