Ripon dominated on its way to another Trans-Valley League girls soccer championship, and that was reflected in all-league voting.

Senior midfielder Jaydin Kroutil was named MVP after leading the Indians to a fourth consecutive title, and converted forward Makenna Pokorny is TVL Defensive Player of the Year.

Bryce Perkins is Coach of the Year, an honor he gladly shares with assistants Devon Denhart and Aubree Pelon. Hughson’s Logann Meyer is TVL Offensive Player of the Year.

Nine Ripon players in all were selected to the all-league team.

Ripon went 10-0 in league for a second straight year and 20-5-2 overall.

Kroutil was the maestro of the Indians’ talented midfield. She finished with the fourth most assists in the Sac-Joaquin Section with 20. In league, she recorded five goals and 10 assists. Kroutil scored two goals and three assists in an 11-0 blowout of Livingston.

A forward in the club circuit, Pokorny was moved to Ripon’s back line to form an outstanding centerback partnership with fellow senior Gabbi Ilardi, an all-league selection and the 2022 DPOY.  The Indians only gave up one goal in their 10 league contests. I

Pokorny’s skills were still put to use on the attacking end, especially on set pieces. She contributed two goals and three assists in TVL play.

Sophomore striker Olivia Maragos made all-league for a second straight year. She paced Ripon with 12 goals and three assists.

Joining her on the All-TVL team are freshman midfielder Kaiya Kroutil (five goals, six assists), senior wing forward Ariana Daniels (nine goals, seven assists), senior midfielder Ines Rodriguez (three goals, two assists), junior wing forward Katie Martin (five goals, two assists) and sophomore goalie Ellena Parenti-Gomez (2.7 saves per game, seven shutouts).

Alison Isham, Katie Rhodes, Natalie Johnson, Alyson Harvey, Kaitlyn Espinola and Savanah Ponce earned honorable mention.

An All-SAL team selection as a defender last year, junior Dayna Koolhaas is back as an out-and-out striker. She led the Knights with 15 league goals, as they finished 12-0-2 and 19-3-3 overall.

Sophomore winger Addison De Jong (10 goals, eight assists) and junior goalkeeper Tara Heida (2.4 saves per game, eight shutouts) are also repeat all-leaguers. Senior defender Taylor Posta (two assists) also made the All-SAL team. Maya De Jong and Hailey Henderson got honorable mention.
