Oliver Hernandez got Lathrop on the board with a half-volley on a set piece from his brother Alan. Juan Morales doubled the lead with a 1-on-1 chance provided by Ociel Mora’s through ball.
“We kept at it, kept taking shots on goal,” Reynaga said. “They got a really good team, but we controlled the tempo the last 20 minutes of the game with possession. We wanted to make sure we came out of there with points. Clock management was really good for the boys.”
