ROUNDUP: Manteca golfers improve to 3-0 in Valley Oak League

The Manteca girls golf team is off to a 3-0 start in the Valley Oak League following its 294-357 win over Weston Ranch Thursday at Manteca Park Golf Course.
Bella Gonzales was low medalist with a 10-over 46, while fellow Buffalo Sophie Serrano took second with a 57. Maryann Bueno and Emma Kadillak each had a 62, while Allie McKelvie and Amalyne Lundbom scored 67s.
Deena Faruai paced Weston Ranch with a 62.

Ripon 171, Argonaut 211
IONE — Gabbi Ilardi’s 3-over 39 at Castle Oaks Golf Club helped Ripon (5-0) maintain its top spot in the Valley Foothill League North Division.
Zoe Bremer checked in with a solid 41. Bianca Toledo contributed a 43, while Adriana DiGiulio rounded out scoring with a 48. Kaylee Weaver led Argonaut (4-2) with a 46.

TENNIS
Sierra 8, Kimball 1

TRACY — The Timberwolves pulled out three three-set wins in the VOL match. 
No. 4 singles Livleen Kaler (1-6, 7-5, 6-3) and No. 5 Victoria Zellmer (2-6, 6-2, 6-3) prevailed after dropping their opening sets. Varshaa Bala and Bianca Dunga came through at No. 1 doubles, 6-2, 4-6, 6-3.
Kaitlyn Rausa blanked Janet Nguyen from the top spot. Nadia Petrovic (6-2, 6-2) and Melanie Nguyen (6-2, 6-3) also swept. Jasmine Sebastian and Kendall Sellers were 6-2, 6-0 winners at No. 2 doubles, and the No. 3 team of Briana Villalobos and Caitlin Morrow won by the same scores.

Manteca 9, Oakdale 0
OAKDALE — Manteca (5-0, 10-1) continued its dominance in the VOL.
Katie Kim (6-0, 6-0), Ellie Kim (6-0, 6-1), Sahiba Kaur (6-2, 6-0), Kerren Zou (6-2, 6-2), Yanki Ma (6-2, 6-1) and Kalissa Martin (6-1, 6-3) trounced the competition in singles play.
Doubles victories came from Kalieah Johannson/Melissa Poncini (6-4, 6-1), Isabella Huerta/Danielle Diaz (6-2, 6-3) and Amorina Tse/Heather Pang (7-5, 6-3).
