Reigning champion Ripon took care of one Trans-Valley League newcomer on Tuesday, knocking off Orestimba, 25-16, 23-25, 25-14, 25-17.
The Indians (2-0 TVL, 13-1 overall) can now shift their focus on rival Ripon Christian, which returns to the TVL after claiming state championships the past two years. The anticipated match takes place Thursday at RC.
Against Orestimba (0-2, 14-6), setter Katelyn Bogetti amassed 46 assists, three kills, three aces and four digs.
Adrianna Dorn clobbered 21 kills and two aces, while Jorie Eskes had 16 kills and two blocks. Shayla McKeon contributed 13 kills and one solo stuff.
Emeri Lane (two assists, two aces) and Amelia Lara (two assists, ace) notched four digs apiece. Kennedy Everhart and Alayna Sprinkle both chipped in two aces and two digs.
East Union 3, Oakdale 0
At Dalben Center, Marcella Carranza accumulated a whopping 32 service points to lead the Lancers (2-1, 3-5 overall) to a 25-15, 25-23, 25-23 sweep in the Valley Oak League match.
The senior setter also had 19 assists and nine aces.
Shebra Rezaye anchored the front row with six kills and six blocks. Katelyn Trevino added five kills and two blocks to go with four aces.
Lily Grove chipped in five kills and three blocks. Giselle Velazquez collected seven digs.
GIRLS GOLF
East Union 255, Patterson 311
Low medalist Arianna Pale finished 6-over-par 42 at Manteca Park Golf Course, as the Lancers (3-0 VOL, 4-0 overall) remain unbeaten in dual matches.
All six Lancers outscored Patterson’s top scorer, Sonya Gregoris (57). Also scoring for East Union: Kendall Perry (50), Alizae Farias (53), Ava Gutierrez (53) and Jessica Ingalls (54).
Livingston 213, Lathrop 277
Livingston had the top two scorers in the Western Athletic Conference match held at Manteca Park Golf Course. Bella Raya and Bri Sobrevilla paced the Wolves with a 47 and 48, respectively.
Lathrop scorers were Ashley Yuuki Abon Garcia (66), Yadira Hernandez (69), Madison Dash (70) and Savanna Quezada (72).
GIRLS TENNIS
East Union 6, Central Catholic 3
The Lancers dominated all three doubles matches in the VOL win.
Samantha Escamilla and Jaklyn Virelas won at No. 1 doubles, 6-0, 6-0. No. 2 Danica Simpson-Atyana Rodriguez (6-3, 6-1) and No. 3 Roshel Mathew-Aide Verduzco (6-0, 6-1) also swept.
Carrera Mendez dispatched Japsayn Grewal, 6-3 (6), 6-4 in the No. 4 singles match. No. 6 Danica Sanchez won, 6-0, 6-2. Central Catholic forfeited at No. 3 singles.

Lucija Dayeh paced the Lancers (3-0 VOL, 6-1 overall) with 10 assists.
Adriana Martinez netted 16 digs, and Aviana Menzel served five aces. Kennedy McLeod tallied two kills and two blocks.

The Lancers (1-2 VOL, 2-4 overall) squeaked out the 20-25, 25-15, 15-12 win.
