Tessa Zalunardo threw for two touchdowns, ran for two more and was on the receiving end of another, as Sierra routed Lincoln 40-0 in a non-league flag football game Wednesday at Daniel Teicheira Memorial Stadium.
It was a complete turnaround made by the Timberwolves (3-3), who were tamed by Kimball 41-0 the night before. They were led by their sophomore quarterback, who completed 10 of 18 passes for 126 yards and TD tosses to Priya Dhaliwal and Sofia Montes.
Maitland Kohoutek threw the 60-yard touchdown pass to Zalunardo and had two interceptions defensively. Zalunardo rushed seven times for 47 yards.
Zhanee Sutton led the defense with five tackles and an interception, and Margeil Garcia contributed with three sacks.
Sierra hosts Lathrop next Wednesday.

In Merced, the Knights fended off a solid upper-division squad 25-19, 25-22, 25-21 to improve to 4-1.
They were led by setter Alanna Blanco’s 30 assists and 10 digs. Paige Van Hofwegen and Morgan Schenk slugged out 11 and seven kills, respectively.
Alyssa Hofman contributed seven digs to the defense, and Haley Kootstra had four blocks.
Ripon Christian has its home opener today against Stone Ridge Christian.
