Sierra beats Manteca behind Ketners 45

The Sierra High Timberwolves topped rival Manteca in Valley Oak League action Tuesday at the Manteca Park Golf Course, 249-303.
David Ketner earned medalist honors, carding a 45 on the nine-hole course.
Sierra was also helped out by Evan Brazell and Nate Livingston shooting scores of 49 and 50, respectively.
Rounding out the scoring for the Timberwolves was Dillon St. Clair (56), Jacky Thai (59) and David Perry (60).
Alex Armendariz paced the Buffaloes with his 53.
Other scores for Manteca were turned in by Ray Gallardo (57), Dylan Haro (60), Nathan Ibe (65), Johnny White (68) and Ruben Hurtado (74).
Sierra will travel to Weston Ranch today while Manteca will entertain Oakdale on Thursday.

Kimball 246, Lathrop 267
Sophomore Christian Guzman fired a 2-over-par 38 at the Old River Golf Course in the Spartans’ loss to the Jaguars.
His effort was enough to earn him medalist honors.
Andrew Lorentz carded a 52 and Curtis Kimbro had a 54 in the nine-hole course.
In addition, Jalen Adatan (60), Robert Berndt (64) and Robby Horrocks (64) rounded out the scoring for Lathrop.
The Spartans (0-2 VOL, 1-3) will host Oakdale today and Central Catholic on Thursday, both at Old River.
