The breakfast of champions includes milk.

Crystal Creamery, a sponsor of the California Interscholastic Federation’s Sac-Joaquin Section, has unveiled special commemorative milk cartons that recognize the section’s spring champions.

Included is Sierra High’s SJS Division IV champion softball team. It is the first of four teams listed on one version, which also features Hughson (Division V), Waterford (Division VI) and Millennium of Tracy (Division VII). Valley Oak League baseball champion Oakdale is featured one of the baseball cartons.

There are four separate editions in all. The other softball carton features large-school titlists Vintage, Casa Roble and Pioneer. Capital Christian, Bradshaw Christian and Valley Christian join Oakdale on the small-school baseball version. Elk Grove, Del Campo and Yuba City are the large schools honored. The commemorative cartons can be found at O’Brien’s Markets and Walmart

Sierra went 25-2 while claiming its second section title in three years, defeating VOL rival Kimball, 4-0, for the fourth time in 2013 on May 18. The Timberwolves were then named the Division III State Team of the Year by Cal-Hi Sports in June.
