Alysia Templeman, Heidi Tazelaar and Miranda Ayala raced to personal bests Saturday for the Ripon Christian girls cross country team in the Pacific Tigers Meet at Elkhorn Golf Course in Stockton. 

 Alysia Templeman finished the 5,000-meter course in 23 minutes, 47 seconds. Tazelaar finished in 25:09 and Ayala in 25:29. 

 “It is an easy course for the teams there and it gave them a lot of confidence for future races,” Knights coach Becky Donoho said.  “It is a fun meet with lots of school spirit displayed.” 

 Bailey Broker (24:15), Liz Herbert (25:32), and in her first-ever varsity race freshman Anneke DeVries (25:41) rounded out the Ripon Christian girls attack. 

 Nicola Mussi (19:49) had the best time for the Knights boys followed by Ryan Mailhot (22:15) and Levi DeVries (22:34), all of which were personal bests.
