STOCKTON (AP) — Chris Iriart hit a two-run homer in the fourth inning, leading the Stockton Ports to an 8-2 win over the San Jose Giants on Thursday.

The home run by Iriart, part of a three-run inning, gave the Ports a 2-0 lead before Santiago Chavez hit a solo home run later in the inning.

After Stockton added a run in the sixth on a home run by Skye Bolt, the Giants cut into the deficit in the seventh inning when Johneshwy Fargas hit an RBI double and then scored on a single by Jalen Miller.

Chavez homered and singled for Stockton.
