STOCKTON (AP) — Edwin Diaz homered and doubled as the Stockton Ports beat the Lancaster JetHawks 3-2 on Tuesday.
Luis Barrera doubled and singled twice for Stockton.
Boomer Biegalski got Manuel Melendez to ground out with runners on first and second to end the game for his first save of the season.
Lancaster tied the game 2-2 in the sixth after Vince Fernandez hit an RBI single, driving in Alan Trejo.
Stockton answered in the bottom of the frame when Diaz hit a solo home run.
Andrew Tomasovich (1-0) got the win in relief while Lancaster starter Rico Garcia (3-2) took the loss in the California League game.
Roberto Ramos homered and singled for the JetHawks.
